Do you like the sun? Do you LOVE cats? Have you always wanted to incorporate both of those things into your job? Then we’ve got the perfect job for you! A cat sanctuary in Greece is hiring a caretaker to live on an island with no fewer than 55 cats!

If you, like me, are the kind of person who prefers feline company to hanging out with humans, this couldn’t be more perfect! Just look at this place!

The Greek island of Sysoshas a population of only 20,000, perfect if you want to get away from the busy city life. However, God’s Little People are more interested in the cat population. The cat sanctuary helps dozens of stray cats that live on Sysos, and who are currently looked after by Joan, a local artist.

Joan and her husband run the sanctuary and have done since 2010. However, they think it’s time for them to move elsewhere, and they want to keep their legacy intact. They need someone to take over the duties of protecting the island’s cats.

Thumbs up if you’re a trained vet or a nurse – you guys get priority when it comes to this job! Anyone else will just have to learn that kind of thing we expect. The job pays around $560 a month, however, you get a house and beautiful garden included in that!

Do you reckon you could care for 55 cats? Then send an application in! However, there is one catch – you must be able to drive a stick shift vehicle. This is so you can drive the family car (also included) to the vets if necessary.

It can’t be that hard right? Living on an idyllic Greek island, looking after 55 beautiful cats. When can we start?

Leave a comment if you think you’d be a good fit, or share with anyone you think would love to apply!
