The photo of the little boy went viral on Facebook and quickly caught the attention of the public. Pictures taken at the Walmart store have been shared thousands of times!
During a trip to Walmart with his mother, the boy was left alone. When he found her soon after, he was ready to leave until she saw what he was doing!
“I had to run to Walmart. I looked around to see if my son was next to me,” read the caption for a photo posted by East Texas Christian music station 85.9 KVNE.
When his mother found him, his son was kneeling on a bench in front of the store. A poster reading “Two Seconds Matter” hung over the boy’s head.
This very simple yet powerful image went viral and everyone across the country was connected to frozen moments of time through photography. Most of us simply ignore these posters because we don’t have the time or prefer to deny that they will ever have anything to do with us. But we don’t know if the story behind it is true, but it did make a difference and got the public’s attention.
On Facebook, someone said something that really summed it up:
“It doesn’t matter if you believe in God or not. It was a Walmart kid and he tried his best to think of others. The world would be a better place if everyone followed his example.”
